A lot of women are thinking about opening a daycare, both as a way to spend more time with the kids and as a way to create more income and self-empowerment. But while daycares are well known and talked about, there is another option: Starting a preschool
A preschool teaches children aged 3--5 for 2--3 hours in the afternoon. It's something which is gaining more and more popularity as parents understand the advantages of beginning their child's education as early as possible.
You can set your own time, work for 2--5 days a week as you see fit and have a lot of freedom in determining what you teach. And it's possible to create a nice income stream through teaching a preschool. Some women make 1--3 thousands of dollars each and every month.
The thing about preschool is that it's different from a daycare because it's a lot less hours and you actually teach the kids instead of playing with them or just look out for them.
Of course, there is the challenge of creating a lesson plan and delivering it in a way which both parents and kids find interesting.
One woman who has opened a successful preschool is Joy Anderson. I recommend getting her free CD on how she did it: Click Here to get your Open a successful preschool Free CD
By the time you finish listening to this CD, you'd be able to make a much more informed decision on whether you want to run a daycare or the idea of a preschool strikes you as a better one.
I believe that this is an option worth considering and I recommend getting this Free CD while it's still available.

1 Safety Measure For Your Daycare
The most important thing in your daycare are the children. You are entrusted with the safety and you need to take special care that this is something you do not fail at.
One of the things you need to make sure of is that you only allow certain people to pick up children from your daycare. After all, there can be several family members who may come to pick up a child from your day care center. You may not know them all to begin with.
Giving a child to the wrong person may lead to abduction and serious consequences. To avoid that, you need to implement 1 important safety rule. I call it the Picture Rule.
For each child you need a folder of names and pictures. These are the people who are authorized to pick up this child. They and no other. If someone comes to pick up a child and you don't have a current picture of he or she in your folder, you should never allow them to take the child away.
Make sure to tell all the parents about this rule and explain to them why it's important. It's a small hassle and can help to keep your daycare a safe environment.
