Is a Daycare a Good Business For the Recession

The economy is scary, there is no doubt about that. Whenever you turn the news, no matter which channel, the financial news seems dismal as hell.

This makes a lot of people bury their heads in the sand and wait for the storm to clear. Forget about starting a business, they just want to keep their job.

But if it's your dream to open a daycare and run it profitably? Is this a bad time for it?

The answer, in my mind, is a resounding NO!

This is a great time to open a daycare. Here's why:

- People still have kids and they still have jobs. They need someplace to leave the kids during the day. It's the same as it has always been.

- People are looking for bargains. They want to pay a lower price for anything. This allows you, the small daycare owner, to put up a real fight to the massive daycares which charge through the nose

- You can rent places for cheap and buy supplies for cheap. Everyone is lowering prices. Why not take advantage of it?

- Build now and you'll be ready when the economy rebounds.

If it's your wish to open a daycare, don't wait a second. Begin working on it today with passion and determination. If you do that, you will succeed.
